Caring for your jewellery

  • Jo Pond jewellery and objects often incorporate materials which are found, used, broken or even rusty, this selection is very deliberate, as it provides the aesthetic and narrative which epitomises Jo's creations. Some changes to these materials over time is to be expected, this will undoubtedly enhance the objects.
  • Steel and tin are ferrous materials, so in certain conditions these may rust. Please keep your pieces dry and away from damp conditions.
  • Vellum is a natural material, prone to some shrinkage over time. Please keep vellum items dry and away from strong direct heat sources, such as lightbulbs or radiators.
  • Some fragile materials such as paper may become dirty with wear and handling. If they are used with care, these marks of use will show the history of these objects whilst in your possession, adding the beauty of use, like a well-thumbed book or an old folded love letter.
  • We want to ensure our customers are happy. If you experience any issue with your purchase, please do get in touch.
