Created for the touring exhibition 'Rationed', this brooch was fabricated from a Glaxo tin, utilised to represent domesticity and the World War 2 wartime wife and mother. This piece, with an essence of the domestic, works as a button-on brooch and as a simple pin-on brooch when the leather strap is removed.
Embellished with a smoky quartz, set in silver.
