For this piece, I chose to work with commemorative objects associated with the inauguration of the Queen, at her Coronation in 1953. These objects were repurposed to create a brooch, celebrating the Diamond Jubilee. Although a new object, like the Queen's reign at the time, my piece was by origin, 60 years old.
