Created from the front section of a watering-can rose, this brooch symbolises growth, nurturing and fertility. A suggestion of seeds is illustrated by a line of smoky quartz, set in silver. The reverse is closed with a section of a Tala baking tin and both the obverse and reverse display the patina of many years of domesticity.
