Constructed from a vintage medical tin for adhesive plaster, (which had some rather interesting ingredients) this brooch displays the beautiful printing from the original tin.
The top detail is an opening through which a chain or cord can be passed, to enable this piece to be worn as a pendant. The brooch pins are safely locked away in a box-section catch.
The front is embellished with a framed 'still life' of 9ct gold and blue topaz in silver, and a blue topaz in silver is suspended from the bottom, to add a little movement.
