Utilising the urban landscape of Birmingham as a starting point, I sought and repurposed kitchen equipment which presented industrial seams and pressed details; techniques employed within industry. The pieces from this collection required the detail of finery to symbolise the Jewellery Quarter, and so each was embellished with a citrine, set in 18ct wire.
