Having been introduced to metal divining, and later metal-detecting with my Dad, as a child, the use of found objects within my work is second nature. The love of patina and history is celebrated in these thimble pins, each unique, with a found thimble presented as a nod to the floral, on a silver stem.
The 'petal' is cut from a vintage leather wallet and the pin is stainless steel.
